You work with 2 strands held together throughout 

Needles:
Circular needles 7 mm / US 10.5 (60, 80 cm / 23, 31 inches) for body
Circular needles 6 mm / US 10 for finish of body, neckline and sleeves

Gauge:
In garter stitch using 2 strands on circular needles 7 mm / US 10.5 12 sts / 22 rows per 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches (garter stitch worked flat)

Procedure:
The back is worked in Garter Slip Stitch in the beginning of the yoke. The front pieces are worked one at a time with increases and then joined to one front piece. The front piece is worked flat as the back piece. The body is worked by joining the front and the back piece and then worked in the round in Garter Slip Stitch. The body is finished with a knit, purl edge and then finished using stretchy bind off. The short sleeve stitches are picked up along the armholes and then worked flat with decreases and then finished with stretchy bind off. The neckline is worked by picking up stitches and then work knit and purl stitches. The vest is assembly free.
